Bella, I’ve been following your blog for over a year now, and I’m sorry to hear you’re taking a break. You have a rare talent for turning complex (and often dull) topics into something engaging and enjoyable. Looking ahead, I can definitely see you monetizing that talent, especially in the tech industry. As for your experiences with less-than-honest dentists, don’t take it to heart. About thirty years ago, I lost a wisdom tooth after biting into a rock that was hidden in my bagel one morning; it shattered the tooth, and I had to have it removed. The dentist then suggested removing the other three for “balance.” I passed on that advice and saved $1,500, and I’ve been just fine ever since.
