I agree with you on all your points with the exception of "Settler Colonialism". The current settlement activity in the West Bank and any future settlement activity in Gaza goes directly against a negotiated peace settlement. And I would argue is against Israel's best interest. Settlement also undercuts the very idea of buffers because all it does is push the boundary outwards, enabling a future conflict because of the close proximity of the antagonists.
