Thanks for pointing out that most European Jews were working-class laborers rather than wealthy elites like the mythical Baron von Rothschild secretly controlling financial markets. It’s also worth noting that Israel was primarily founded by secular Zionists, not Orthodox Jews, who largely opposed the project until after World War II. Additionally, many Jews were deeply involved in early 20th-century revolutionary movements, often siding with labor unions to protect their rights as factory workers, rather than being part of the economic elite.
