This conflict is an intractable dilemma with no clear path to resolution. Both sides are too deeply rooted in the land for mass relocation to be anything but a fantasy. Yet, delusions persist—Palestinian radicals insist that Israelis, framed as the last vestiges of white neo-colonialism, should be sent back to Europe, while ultra-hardline Zionists dream of expelling Gaza’s population to Egypt. These narratives conveniently ignore reality: that half of Israel’s Jews are Sephardic with Arab ancestry and that many Palestinians likely descend from Jews who converted to Islam (or Christianity) centuries ago. At some point, the concept of coexistence must take hold. Clearly, that moment is not today.
